01 / about

So, what is cruidín?

A one-person studio where I help you explore your data, tell its story with clear visualisations and build the web app around it when that helps. It’s also where my own side projects find a home, from small tools to full apps.

Behind it is me, Luc Hendriks. I’m currently doing a PhD in which I apply ML/AI to complex datasets in a clinical laboratory setting, after five years of working as a bioinformatics scientist.

And the name? I just like birds. The kingfisher sits still, watches the water and only dives when it’s sure, which isn’t a bad way to work with data either.
